As a fighter with middling stats, Deimos can seem underwhelming at first, but with his double hits and stacking damage increase on single targets, he can be extremely effective against lone mobs. Deimos also has great Awakenings, giving him self-healing and the ability to ignore some of the target's defense. Although seeming weak to begin with, he becomes a solid single-target option until the late game.
