Although Init has potential to compete as a DPS, he needs awakenings. His basic attack applies damage reduction, which is invaluable versus Semrah and the cores Init assigns attack with him to provide a consistent source of true damage. They also provide damage increases and heal. Paired with his base stats, and good damage output from his ultimate, Init can work well but he isn't great.
