With a very good slow, a freeze on her ult, and a chance at inflicting vulnerability, Marri is a great control hero and when packed with attack speed can stop entire groups in their tracks. Considering you are given her for free at the beginning, her low damage is an easy compromise for the utility she presents in campaign, VR, late game gear raids and guild boss.
